Vincenzo is so welcoming and caring and truly goes out of his way for his guests. The location and rates are perfect for a short stay and will return when next in Florence! An excellent place for solo travellers.
The walls are thin (guests were considerate of others though). And the pillows are too hard for comfortable sleeping.
The owner/receptionist/housekeeper/concierge an all around person is a great guide too. Very helpful and very kind.
There was no ac in the room, this can be a bit uncomfortable on a hot summer day in Florence.
The care and attention of staff was excellent, everything was spotlessly clean, and the effort to make you feel at home was perfect. Value for money was also excellent. All in all, this was a very suitable hotel in which to be based and I have nothing but praise for the manner in which everything was done.
Neat room; free wifi; friendly and helpful staff. 15m walk to old bridge. we got a room with toilet although we booked for a room with sharing one. many free maps/magazines at the receiption. good value.
Very friendly and helpful hotelkeeper.
It is very nice and clean family run hotel. The stuff is incredibly nice and always helping me. Room price is also reasonable for the nice room. It is a bit far from the center of the city but the location surrounding the hotel is quiet and the view of river was beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel. Next time I visit Florence, I will stay this hotel again for sure. Thank you for everything.
The stairs and the pokey bathroom
The stuff was a friendly person and his daughter was very cute. I felt like at home and relaxed from everything.
The door was not enough thick and all the noise could be heard from outside.
Vicenzo the owner is a wounderful person
I enjoyed there a lot , the staff actually only one staff, but very helpful friendly. And the room design also very sweet and romantic
well the thing is, that not hotel's fault , cos the next building is redecorating, so the really have some noise, but was fine during night
nice friendly staff
a little bit cold, but for the price it's totally ok
The room is fine and closed to the train station. like 10 min walking.
There are many stairs so it´s not recomendable for old couples
The owner is very friendly and I felt good in the hotel. I had a room with air conditioning, quite big with small private bathroom. Clean and comfortable.
The hotel is at a walking distance from the city center, but with the hot italian summer was a pain to walk back to the hotel in the evening. The neighborhood is fine because well served with bar and restaurant, but sometimes I felt uncomfortable in the street while walking back to the hotel in the evening.
great location, perfect hospitality due too the host
Fairly decent. The price being so reasonable it was not a problem.
Just three things, the shower is just behind the door of the bathroom and is a bit awkward. Secondly, there's no ac and in the oppressive Florence heat that is not such a good idea - a much cheaper hotel in Venice's old town had ac. And finally I guess it was bed bugs, but can't be too sure about that anyways I came away all itchy and with bites, never seeing or hearing mosquitoes.
