I recently had a great stay at a hotel in Florence that exceeded my expectations in many ways. the location was fantastic, as it was close to the city center and all the beautiful sights. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. Furthermore, the rooms were equipped with all the basic amenities I needed, and I particularly enjoyed having a balcony to relax on and soak in the atmosphere of the city. Lastly, the breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying, with a good variety of options to choose from.
Everything was fine during my stay.

Our host and hostess were excellent! They were warm and welcoming and were spot on with their recommendations for restaurants in town. The hotel location is just outside of the tourist district so it's peaceful. And with the American embassy as a neighbour, it's safe too.

This hotel is conveniently located close to the city center and offers easy access to great local restaurants. Rooms are spacious and feature well-equipped bathrooms. The breakfast is quite good, and staff hospitality is outstanding. Guests are also happy with the WiFi speed and the helpfulness of the front desk staff.
Some street noise can disturb light sleepers during the night.

Great base to check out the sites of Florence and a very helpful host in Vincenzio. Room upgraded from single to double at same rate (45 Euro). Free WIFI which worked perfectly and an Italian coffee thrown in for good measure. Spacious room with opening windows and very clean and comfortable. Short 10 minute stroll from train station and located on 2nd floor - Vincencio helped me up and down with my bags. Coffee and pastry for breakfast off site at cafe around the corner - a 4 minute walk. Very quite area and a great place to chill out for a few days. Owner works hard at providing great service in an unobtrusive manner. Good value for money.

We enjoyed the central location of the hotel, making it easy to visit all the main sights of the city. The hotel staff were polite and welcoming, providing helpful maps and directions upon our arrival. We also appreciated the variety offered at breakfast.
There were some negative aspects to our stay. Our room had outdated and uncomfortable bedding and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

Close to the centre: This hotel is conveniently located near the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the attractions nearby. Attentive staff: The hotel staff were always ready to assist and provide recommendations, ensuring that our needs were well taken care of. Rooms with balcony: We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room came with a balcony, allowing us to enjoy some fresh air and take in the beautiful views of the surroundings.
Noise from the street: While the hotel did a good job of soundproofing the rooms, there was some noise from the street, which could be bothersome for light sleepers.

It is very clean, it has very comfortable beds, and Vincenzo is really nice. The morning coffee and croisant is in a bar nearby, great place to see Italians drinking their coffee, before going to work.

As I nearly always travel for Music and Arts I was absolutely charmed by the location of the hotel opposite Teatro Comunale. It is along the Arno in a stylish environment and the single room I had was nicely, simply decorated and spotless. I was welcomed by the landlord exactly at the time I said I would arrive (he sent me a message the day before to actually check the time of my arrival) . I was given the three keys and felt at home straight away. I had several nice chats with him and I followed exactly his advice to go and visit places of interest he pointed out to me. I had a great short time very good for value and will come again, because it is a fairly affordable location in hands of a very nice person.( The buses C3 and 36/37 (to central station) are just round the corner.I am not a young traveller!
